Isn’t it illegal to deface Canadian coins? Or do artists get some sort of exception?

Art transcends boundaries. So in a way, yes, artists do have “some sort of excemption”.
I was on this site and read about these, he says that they were each hand carved and cut out. These look photoshoped and are the real coins, why the speil?
