Ceramic Pinhole Camera
August 8th, 2007
Design: Steve Irvine
Date: 2007

Steve Irvine, a Wiarton, Ontario based ceramicist and pinhole camera enthusiast combines his two passions in the creation of ceramic pinhole cameras. By working in clay, Irvine is able to play with the form and structure of not only the camera body, but the internal elements of the camera as well. For example, whereas standard pinhole cameras are box shaped with linear negative holders, a ceramic pinhole camera can have curved negative holders allowing for wide angle shots or purposefully distorted images.

John,
This is such a killer post!
I would love to see more of these cameras and the pictures that they generate.
