An augmented reality device that replaces the traditional coin-operated telescopes. “By simply aiming the telescope at landmarks in the surrounding landscape, users have access to fascinating facts at the push of a button. It also contains previously saved images which enable users to view sites as they were on a sunnier day or by night. Its first deployment took place in January 2010 at the 124th floor observatory of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.”
