Canadian Pulp and Paper Industry Pavillion
February 28th, 2011
Design:
Client: Canadian Pulp and Paper Industry
Date: 1967

Imagine a roof made up of numerous stylized evergreen trees in different shades of green that resembles a cartoon forest. This is the perfect place to learn about the history of the manufacturing and use of paper, and the importance of this industry in Canada. The forest, which has fascinated human beings since the beginning of time, has inspired many stories and legends in all cultures; a sampling of these stories and legends is presented here.

Wow – great minds must think alike! I had posted a picture on my own blog last night that commented on the great design of this pavilion – and then I see you were showcasing it the sane day as well.
Here’s my post: http://worldsfairphotos.blogspot.com/2011/02/clowning-around-part-4.html
