Maybe not a new concept, but kudo’s to Umbra and Ivankovic for bringing repurposing to a larger audience in Canada.
Personally I love the versions produced by Artecnica’s Design With A Conscience programme. Formally super strong and the ideas of recycling are not the main story but a nice addition.
It would be great to take Umbra objects and find second uses for them. Ever time I go to a Goodwill there are loads of Umbra plastic housewares.

IS THIS FOUND/RECYCLED GLASSSES THAT HAVE BEEN SANDBLASTED?
This has been done by studnets in my glass classes for years, now it is design?
