Stawberry Milk Into Shrubbed Milk
August 9th, 2009
Design: Ray Fenwick
Client: Dime Bag 3 (Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens)
Date: 2009

“Dime Bag 3 is the ninth in an ongoing series of events by Isip and Stevens, bringing together over 200 artists from New York City and beyond representing an extraordinary variety of disciplines. Painters, illustrators, graphic designers, filmmakers, photographers, product designers, and others have been invited to create artworks specifically designed to be exhibited in 3-inch plastic bags: dime bags. Each artist was sent one of the symbolic baggies and asked to fill it in any way they wished.” (from the Dime Bag 3 website)
Pictured above is Canadian Illustrator Ray Fenwick’s submission, titled “Stawberry Milk Into Shrubbed Milk”.

The event and concept sound compelling, but I would love to see some of the other work – I just don’t find Fenwick’s Dime Bag all that interesting. Clicked the Dime Bag 3 link and couldn’t find any of the other ones. Can you post a link so we can see more?

Just came across this… FYI the point of this was that in the bag, behind the lettered part, there was a USB stick with an audio piece.
Which is to say I think this is the wrong context.
