Organic Freezer Bin
May 10th, 2010
Design: Salvatore Fuccillo and Jennifer MacEwan
Client: Fuccillo
Date: 2010

“Fuccillo, a design firm based in Vancouver, has developed a tool for composting that eliminates odor and fruit flies once and for all. The product, called the Organic Freezer Bin, is made of silicone and is kept in your freezer. To empty, you simply push the flexible bottom and pop the frozen scraps out.”

There will be a list of retailers on the website soon, or you can order it off the website.

Looks really nice, but I the city just gave us some bins to use on the counter top. These ones look nicer than the brown lidded ones we got. The design looks like it will be appealing to the upper class of recyclers – Alessi of the compost bins.
