Small birds don’t need a perch (or want one, as it would allow access by predators). They likely also wouldn’t appreciate an unstable house like this. And even if they did, it’s fairly obvious that this would soil easily.
All in all, this is a very poor design…and I’m baffled as to why it’s tagged as “Best of the CDR.”
