Shoppers Drug Mart Life Brand

The simple, gorgeous design of these products make me want to buy everything just for the pretty, charming packaging.

Shopper Drug Mart, listed as Canada’s top 5th brand in 2006, operates a line of products (known as Life brand) which focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle for busy city slickers. Their belief in living a healthy lifestyle can be seen through their minimal packagings and the usage of recyclable materials (like their plastic bottles and paper box packaging). In B.C. their company is listed on Encorp’s returning program for deposit refunds where the deposit is paid upon the purchase of the product. I personally think that the marketing strategy of the Life brand is a very smart way of promoting a healthy lifestyle for individuals and for the environment at the very same time.

Life brand has a certain ring to it. Sure beats Loblaws’ “No Name” brand.

I recently bought a product from the local dollor store. It was the Life Brand of Oatmeal hand & Body cream. I was so pleased with it I stopped buying the name brand. I have convenced my friends and family to buy it. Now that I need to buy more I no longer can find it in the store.
Would you please tell me how I can find more?
I live in NY (Long Island) we shop at the local dollor store in Deer Park or Central Islip
    Thank you for your time.

You used to have a very good Men’s Shaving Foam with Aloe, then you changed the product completely, including the can. The new product is inferior, and I find that I cut myself more often when shaving with it. Why didn’t you leave the product as it was? I don;t even like the design of the new can. So many companies do this. They have a great product, then they go and change it and end up with an inferior product. Rememeber what happened when Coca Cola changed their classic formula. It was a disaster. Why don’t companies leave a good product alone. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. You’ve lost me as a customer.

I would rather request that Life Brand manufacturers PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back Vanilla berry antibacterial hand soap. I took my young boys with me smelling every scent on the shelves and this has been by far the greatest smell. I have had countless guest wanting to know where I purchased a hand soap so good they are tempted to eat it !!! To all of our dissapointed we have learned it has been discontinued. No other can compare so I would love to see it back on my local Shoppers Drug Mart shelves thank you… From Sidney, British Columbia

I use your life brand facial cleaser for oily skin. It is actually for shaving. I love this product as it works both to reduce oil, and gives me a great shave. I like the smell of the grapefruit in it too, Is this product being discontinued? If so — why? Will it be replaced? Could I buy a box of it at a discount price? Please get back to me.

Ummm… why are people here requesting info or help from Shoppers Drug Mart? I highly, highly doubt Shoppers reads these comments at all. You are better off contacting the company directly. Think about it people…

Shoppers Drug Mart Life Brand just copies every brand out there. That’s pretty pathetic.

  • 15. Cory Natural  |  May 2nd, 2009 at 15:51

Shoppers Life Brand copies other brand packaging. that’s pretty sad.

What is the deal with the new cola? The old stuff sold off the shelves. You raised the price and than changed it so it now actually has more sugar than Coke. We used to drink your stuff because it tasted good and had less sugar. Now it has more sugar, tastes basically like bland carbonated sugar and costs 50 cents less than a case of Coke.
