Seems like a great design, both parts, front and back appear to be from the same mold. Beyond that, it will not win any style awards and it was created before any standards (CSA) were around. I guess that hockey used to be a little more gentlemanly, this would over little protection and i would be terrified to wear it on the rink.

i guess when you consider that the pros didn’t wear anything at all, this looks pretty good. at least it’s not leather.
