Canadian Flag Postage

“Canada Post has just released a new collection of stamps featuring the Canadian Flag. I took two photos for the project. One is used on the ‘Day of issue’ booklet, featuring two kids jumping off a dock. The other is on one of the stamps in the collection. I shot a 1967 11-window Volkswagen Micro Bus in Velvet Green. This particular bus has been lowered and customized by Volkswagen connoisseur A.J. Walsh. A.J. is very proud to have his bus on a stamp and is currently seeking permission from his wife to have the stamp tattooed on his leg. I have promised to document the event if it happens, so keep an eye on this blog for further developments.”
