This ceremonial medicine bag is an example of Raven’s Tail weaving, which is the oldest form of weaving in British Columbia – very specialized and rare. The warp is thigh spun buffalo wool (natural brown colour). The weft is commercially dyed merino wool and the top edge is sheared beaver.
